Our trusty router, after years of loyal service, finally gave up the ghost. But as they say, every cloud has a silver lining—and boy, did we find ours! The Great Internet Outage of 2015 Picture this: It's the middle of summer, and suddenly, our connection to the outside world vanishes. No Netflix, no emails, no quick Google searches to settle friendly debates. For a whole week, we were transported back to the dark ages (or at least the 1990s). Unfortunately, I couldn’t even get a signal in its natural state but after I added strawberries, bananas, ice and turned it into a smoothie, it downloaded to the stomach at a pretty fast speed.
